As I wake up

                       As i wake up, before i do anything, first thing i check on my kids then held to the bathroom to get ready to start my daily activity. I start on my morning walk for thirthy minutes. After i get back from that walk, sitting on my couch for couple minutes drink a cup of tea and taking my vitamins.I expand my responsibilities extensively. I start on breakfast and getting my two girls ready for school and my husband for work. While i was preparing breakfast, there was a knocking at my door. hmmm i taught it was those people from the Jehovah witness, do not get me wrong  I do believe in God., but nope it was my neighbor that need my husband help, because her car does not want to start. After all my husband went to work. I drop my two princesses to school and get ready to go to work.

A night to remember

Standing here in this beautiful American Airlines Arena feels like a dream come true. So many people surround me, makes me feel like a little grain of sand out of a huge sand box. The people in the gymnasium all form a crimson, white , and red rainbow. Fans were cheering as loud as they can for their team, so I join them and cheer. While  me and my husband sat down, different thoughts come to mind. Smelling the concession stand foods makes me feel like I didn't have  anything to eat all day. The aroma of that curly cheese fries makes me think of one of my favorite restaurant, The fact that I was there, I have the chance to taste them hmmm yammy, and to tell you the truth I had mad fun, it was a night to remember.

WHO AM I

WHO AM I

Who am I, that I went to sleep and wake up the next morning, I have a roof under, I can feed myself, I can bath myself, I can open my mouth and talk, Who am I. I have a job, I have the opportunity to go to school, so I can be a role model for my kids. Who am I, I can use my hand and have the opportunity to use a computer to write those lines. Who am I... I am the same as those people that suffering right about now at the hospital, Who am I. I'm just a child of God, I am not lucky, all I know I am blessed.

My sweet life

Go to work, go to college, at the same time take care of your family its not a joke.
there are seven days in a week, as for me I never had a day off, every morning I have to wake up at 6, wake up my husband, prepare breakfast, wake up my kids and prepare them for school, after I dropped them, get back home to get my self ready for work, after work, go pick them up from after care, feed them and get ready to school. that is my life.

Faillure is the condiment that gives success its flavor

" Failure is the condiment that gives success its failure".

              This quote appeals to me for many reasons. Perhaps, in part due to the subtle food reference, but mostly because it is so simple yet profound. I think about my own life and realize that thre were many mistakes that I painfully struggled through, before I could enjoy the sweetness of success. This may cause as a surprise to some, but the reality is that, there are a lot of reasons why we make the choice that we do. The trick is not letting one mistake become a downward spiral.

Why writing is important

Writing is important for several reasons. any student who wants to further their career in academia needs to know how to write well. Not only is writing an important academic skills, but it is also an important skill that translate into any career field. Writing is the primary basis upon which your work, your learning, and your intellect will be judged in college, in the workplace, and in the community. Writing express who you are as a person, it helps others give you feedback, it also helps you understand how truth is established in a given discipline. Writing is just an essential job skill.

Holiday

Holiday is a day set aside by custom, or by law, on which normal activities, especially business or work, are suspended or shortened. Normally holiday is engage to allow individuals to celebrate or commemorate an event or tradition of cultural or religious. One of the most reason I love holiday, sometimes there  is no work, no school ( don't get me wrong, I love school), u can stay home enjoying with your love's one, gather together for a nice enjoyable dinner, go to Church to praise the Almighty lord. Holiday just enjoyable.

Asking Question In Class

 The principal use of questions is to elicit information from the person being addressed, by indicating, more or less precisely the information  which the speaker desires. Wikipedia define question as a linguistic expression used to make a request for explanation, or the request made using such an expression. Asking question, is one of the step  to improve learning, it helps me develop my critical thinking. Asking questions not only make the class more interactive, but it also help me measure and improve my learning skills, also it helps me create the challenge that makes me learn more from text ad from the world around me.

Intelligence can be interpreted in many different ways, whether it is the process of doing a task and receiving a positive result, or is it simply achieving one owns personal goal, one ability to succeed in life is almost directly related to an image of the perception of what success is. The most important thing in life is through happiness. In order to achieve success, you must adjust the key to every situation with ease. Compiling to the post, my experience academic integrity hold a great deal of weight. This include Honesty in the work produced, as well as being able to accomplish the work.

Honesty

Honesty refers to a facet of moral character and connotes positive and virtues attributes such as integrity, truthfulness and straightforwardness, along with the absence of lying. Its funny how everybody consider honesty a virtue, yet no one wants to hear the truth. According to what law says. To be honest, it is a manifestation of the truth, and the facts behind are just consequence of being honest. In a simple way honestly is not only to tell the truth, but also to live the truth.

Abortion

Abortion is the most controversial to pics at all times. It is the ending of pregnancy before birth and is morally wrong. An abortion results in the death of embryo. Abortion destroys the lives of hopeless, innocent children and is illegal in many countries. Pro-choice groups advocate freedom of choice and often use scientific example and facts to supports their argument. According to "Census.gov" the number of abortion performed annually in the US has leveled off at 1.2 million a year. Although abortion is legal in the US, many people continue to voice their opinion.

What can lead you to an end of a friendship

Friendship can be a tendency to desire what is best for the other. Trust and Honesty perhaps in situation where it may be difficult to speak, and also the perceive fault of one counterpart. Trust is one another in relation of friendship, without fear of being judged, you'll be able to go to each other for emotional support. Friendship can go wrong from the beginning or can eventually cause your frustration and discomfort. Whenever you feel that way and cannot trust someone, it may be better to end the relationship.

texting while driving

Texting while you are driving has become an epidemic for us, it is a serious distraction and one that could cost us , our lives or the life of others, I know how hard it is to put your cellphone down and be concentrate in the road. I sometimes stuggle with avoiding distraction while i'm driving. life its not a video game, because there is no return after the game over. please don't text and drive, it can wait.

Writing in a group, what works and what doesn't.

Writing in a group is a best method that a professor can provide for a student, because it helps you share your interest, change ideas, do discussion and understand better.What that don't really work in writing in a group, is when you doing pretty much all the work by yourself and the others do not.

Education is an elemental human right and essential for all other human rights. Education is a need, the world is run by those who are educated and successful. stay in school and get an education, because the education you get today will help you prosper in the future. Intelligence plus Character, that is the goal of true education.

My Biography

Hi, my name is Ilande Desir, born and raise in Haiti, grew up from a Christian family . I have three sisters and three brothers, I am the second child in my family. I have my own family now, an God had blessed me with three princesses. I am so blesse and thankful .I came to the United States in 2002.
I graduated High school from Olympic Heights, I had a bachelor degree in Medical assistant. I am at South University now to continue my career by becoming a Registered Nurse.
